Brian Tremain Bursary 2018

The late Brian Tremain was one of the founding members of AHFAP. His family generously sponsors an annual travel and ticket price bursary, in his memory, to enable a professional or a student in our field to attend the association’s annual conference. The successful candidate will also receive one year’s free association membership. Although our conferences are exceptionally good value this still represents a considerable saving.

This year’s conference is being held at The British Library Knowledge Centre London on 1st November 2018.

The bursary is open to individuals and students.

The successful candidate is encouraged to take the opportunity to make a short presentation on her or his work at next year’s conference and to write a brief blog about their day at this year’s conference for inclusion on the AHFAP website in due course.

The Association’s President, two other members of the committee and a member of Brian Tremain’s family will judge submissions. If there is no clear winner it will be passed to the association’s Chair for a final decision. All entries and judging decisions are confidential and no communication will be entered into concerning the process or the resulting decision.
