Based in Edinburgh, I have been an Aerial Photographer with The Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland since 1991. As part of the Survey and Recording Department, my remit is to photograph man’s impact on the Scottish landscape and capture it in the most informative and creative way possible. My photography covers sites as diverse as archaeology, architecture and landscapes and the resultant photographs are archived and available to view through Canmore, our web database. Some of these images have also featured in our best selling books such as “Above Scotland”, and “Above Scotland – Cities”.
